EPLANT-P&ID is a computer aided design system to draw Process and Instrumentation Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams with AutoCAD and to automatically obtain line, equipment, instrument, fitting and valve lists. Data Sheets can be generated too.
EPLANT-P&ID has been designed to automate the report generation from diagrams and to draw them using a symbol library. Data is stored directly in the graphics files: the data base module works with a copy off line, automatically updated. This assures great consistency in report generation and automatically allows integrating hundreds of diagrams.
The system is well suited in the design phase as well as for documentation of existing plants, to maintain integrated information constantly up to date.
COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER SYSTEMS
Existing P&ID drawing files can be semi automatically converted to EPLANT-P&ID format, allowing using existing information, without redrawing it.
COMPATIBLE WITH EPLANT-Piping
P&IDs can be checked against 3D EPLANT-Piping models. EPLANT-Piping MTO estimation can be generated from P&IDs.
